Trowern (10.3.1) in a fifteen rounds contest, qrowern attacked wildly throughout using both hands in an endeavour to store a knockout. Butcher boxed cautiously using straight iclts to the i.u'e, effectively nullifying the New ’Ev.lnn.lsr’s wild attempts to secure a victory by the short route. In the eighth round Trowern almost secured a coup staggering his opponent with a heavy right to the jaw, hut Butcher recovered and eventually won by ■a small margin of points.
