CORRESPONPENCE.
AYANT OF COURTESY
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —Last Sunday while crossing over the bridge to Kanieri nil a bike I saw ahead of mo four or live young women placing themselves in line across the centre of the approach to’ the bridge. I was on the point of signalling to them, hut just then a motor bike happened to pass, and thinking this would have the desired effect [ desisted. Sir, as a rule I carry about with me a soft spot for young women, but on this y evasion when I saw the brazen and j vulgar grin, and that I also had to find my way round those young women over coarse gravel that spot suddenly changed into an icicle; and further, when informed that about five minutes litter a motor car came along and tried, bill failed to shift those young women, that spot further changed into an iceberg. Trusting the police will take a hand in this.matter, arid thanking your sir.
I am, etc., F. A. BAITCKE. Kanieri, August 20th, 1928.
