(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 18. The Reform vote in Wellington East is threatened with being split as the result of an announcement df a contestant against Air Forsyth. In response to a large signed petition, Mr J. J. Clark, of Kilbirnie, a well-known resident, and a pror inent officer of the Reform League, hat consented to stand in the Reform interests. The sitting member declines to submit to a selection Ballot.
