EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS

The frequent arrival of the Roman Catholic dignitaries here is focussing attention on the world's Eucharistic Congress, which is being held at Sydney a fortnight hence. Large crowds welcomed the Congress President, Rt. Rev. Bishop Heyhin and Bishop Desehamps yesterday. The Rev. Father Meaner, of Sydney, the. Congress Organiser, has a herculean task in finding accommodation for twenty thousand Congress visitors, lde has the task now veil in hand. Ono of the most impressive spectacles at the Congress will be that on Sydney Harbour, when the gold and white barge, resplendent with religious symbolism, carries the Host from Manly to the city through a great laneway of ships. The bargo will be one of the Manly ferry steamers, painted white, with brown-gold baud.
