Australian Press Assn.—United Service A TEXAS TRAGEDY. VANCOUVER, August 3. An amazing tragedy has occurred at the office of the News Trribune, at Waco, Texas. Mrs Robert Ashworth, the wife of the cashier of the newspaper, appeared, and, without uttering a word, fired two shots at her husband’s secretary, Charlotte Lawson, killing her instantly. Mrs Ashworth then drank poison, and also administered doses to her two you»g daughters, who were with her, the three of them all dying before they reached'the hospital.
