BOWLING.
Australian Press Assn.—United Service SYDNEY, Aug. 2. Two rinks of New Zealand bowlers defeated Sydney Metropolitan players at Balmain green. New Zealand rinks:—Davis. Scott, Reed, Nash 23 10: Pulling. Guthrie, Casey, Ball 13— 22. The visitors were entertained by the Association President, Mr Scott, who announced his intention going to New Zealand carnival at Wellington in January- Australian bowlers thereat will be represented by six rinks in the tests, one rink being representative of each State.
