Women’s Australian foursomes championship, stroke play, 18 holes, at Rose Bav links, resulted in Mrs Gatehouse and Miss Hay (Victoria) tieing with Miss Way and Miss Green (Now South Wales) for first. There were 240 competitors including the New Zealanders. The winners scores were each eighty-seven. Miss Payton (New Zealand) was fourth with ninety and Miss Kay (New Zealand champion) sixth with 96.
