In this issue the Railway Department advertise particulars regarding the evening trains from Greymouth to Blackball, Hokitika and Rewanui being delayed on Saturday, 4th. August on account of the Boxing Tournament at Greymouth that evening.

Entries for the Westland Competitions close in a week’s time, and intending entrants should have their forms filled in and forwarded to the Secretary as early as possible now. The preparations for the competitions are now well forward, and everything will be in readiness betimes.
