The following South Island League team has been selected to play North Island at Auckland on July 28th. for the choosing of the New Zealand thirteen to meet the Englishman at Auckland on Aug. 4th. Blazey (Otago); three-quarters, Clydesdale (Otago), Eckh off'(Otago), Davidson (Canterbury), Robins (West Coast) captain, SpiUane (Canterbury), "Woods (Canterbury) vice-captain; for-wards-Woodgate (Canterbury); Townsend (Otago). Callie (Canterbury), "• O’Connor (Otago), O’Brien and Goodnil (West Coast). Emergencies: backs, W. Stuart (Canterbury); forwards, Quinn (Otago).
