The Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting concluded at-Trentham to-day in fine, bright weather, with a very large attendance. The course was sticky after a heavy frost. Beau Cavalier won the Winter Hurdles from end to end. The tote took £68,978, as against last year’s third day total of £66,395), the total for the meeting being £157,300, compared with last year’s £147,973, an increase of £9,327. Results:—

Talavera Hurdles.—(l3) Olympic 1, (10) Lady Gay 2, (3) Erin-Go-Bragh 3. Won by two lengths; one length. Time 3.1). ' -

July Steeplechase.—(2) Kawini 1, (4) Tuld 2, (3) Matu 3. Won by half a length ; one length. Time 6.48. Onslow Handicap.—(2) Duke Abbey 1, (4) Clielone 2, (1) King Lu 3. Won hv a head; two lengths. Time 1.18). Ivai Ora Handicap.—(2) Callanmore 1, (6) Meadowlark 2, (3) Mark Mint 3. Won by two lengths; one length. Time 1.51.
