At Ueleware Watergap, Pennsylvania, Compston, playing brilliant golf captured the Tnstern Open Championship with a total of 287. Aubrey Boom er was placed fifth with a total of 293 Compston was sevcrly censured by the Committee and the onlookers for causing a needless two lours delay of tho finals.
