Australian Press Assn.—United Service
(Received tins day at 12.25 p.m.) SOFIA, July 7.
Three unknown people killed by revolver shots, Rcotogueroff (Committad j i leader and head v of Mncedorinn Revolutionary Committee), for whoso death his enemies recently offered a reward.
His assassination recalls the murder in 1924, of his predecessor, Tofor Alexandroff, founder and leader of the Bulgarian secret army, another name for 150,000 commitadjis, who keep up the country’s warlike spirit. The fact that Alexandroff was murdered at the hands of dissenting communists, suggests that ReotogucrofF was similarly marked, because the Commitadjis were always at daggers drawn with the Communists, who they rigidly suppressed when they attempted a revolution in 1925. It is feared last night’s murder may lead to Uprisings,
