Inglis, K. Martin, C. Adam, F. Rus" sell, E. Mitchell, N. Inglis, Wright, Emergencies: R. Richards, J. Bridginan. Old Boys and Young Bucks play at Harihari during the week-end. Quito a lot of excitement was occasioned over the last match a few weeks ago and intending sjiectators can be assured of a hectic entertainment while it lasts. The Bucks play the Colts at Matainui over the week end. Waitalia play Ruatapu at Waitaha. The Otago farmers visiting the glacier returned to Hokitika to-day. The official opening of the Matainui Golf Club takes place on July 2Stlj. The owning will he celebrated with a ball the previous evening. A severe electrical storm of short duration was experienced here in the early hours of Thursday morning, the lightning being very vivid, while the claps of thunder were severe enough to shake the residences and cause some amount of alarm.
