WEST COAST RUGBY UNION. The weekly meeting was bold last evening at Greymouth. It -was resolved to advise Motueka Union this Union could not reconsider ~s decision as to playing at Motueka this year. Butler Union advised it could not alter the date of its match from 21st. July to 14th. July.—Decided to play on July 21st. as already arranged. ;; Resolved to forward to liiangaliua Sub-Union rules for the, Newman. Shield and Primary Schools’ competition, and supply re-admission forms. Oobden Club was granted permission tor travel tee Nelson to play Wa-katu junior team as a curtain raiser to tlio Seddcn Shield match on July 28th. A deputation was received from the Soccer Association re the use of Victoria Park on July 21st.—Resolved to leave the matter in- the hands of Mr Kyle. It was unanimously decided to play the matchj Grey v. Hokitika, at Hokitika next Saturday, the return match to be played on July 14th., each Union to bear its own expenses. The Grey selector, Mr Adams, is to select fifteen players and two emergencies. Excelsior Club were declared the winners of the senior cup. Fixtures for the Citizens’ Shield were held over until after the forthcoming rep. matches. Resolved to play first junior rep, match, Grey v. Hokitika, at Greymouth on July 28th. junior selectors to pick team on July 21st. Decided to post the name of B. A. Griffiths to the New Zealand Rugby Union for having reverted to tlie League code. Mr A. AVhite was appointed manager of the Grey team +o visit Hokitika on Saturday.
