This vast sum then represents approximately the yearly disbursements under the Nation Health Insurance scheme to insured persons on account of rheumatism, together with the accompanying loss of wages. It does not include any sum for the cost of the medical treatment of persons suffering from rheumatism who are not totally capable of work.”—Sir Walter K.nnear.
