Johnson swung "ildly with the right, but Parker easily outboxed him. scoring well in in-lighting. A heavy right opened Johnson's eye in the third round handicapping bom for the remainder of the bout. NEW YORK. June 20. At Madison Square Gardens. 1 iger Payne, the negro from Australia, won on a foul from Joe Monk, of Boston in the sixth round of the scheduled ten round bout. Bayne weighed U’c pounds, and Monk 130.
