HOCKEY.
On Cass Square yesterday afternoon Hokitika Ladies’ Hockey Club defeated Runanga by eight goals to nil. M. Lynch (2), M. Sumner (2), O. Stapleton (1), and N. Olson (2) scored goals for Hokitika, the other two goals being netted by a Runanga player. Outstanding players for Runanga were L. Wright (goal), Mrs Smith, E. Harrison, N. Malpass, and J. Cole and for Hokitika M. Lynch, N. Olson, R. Morgan, R'. Stapleton, and J. Hall. Mr i\ Gay was referee.
