Mr Churchill in reply, admitted a few days before the Budget he realised there had been a leakage of information, and he thought of dropping the project. Ho found, however, there . were many interests to he consulted on the matter, so he included the reof tho duty. The amendment was defeated' and Clause Four carried by 258 to 124.

The Bengal Board of Film Censors, by a majority of six to two, decided to prohibit the exhibition of the Cavel'l film “Dawn” in India.
