Earning A Livni.uioon. The secret of full employment, ready consumption and a rising standard of living is in obedience to the law of supply and demand, which is always seeking to maintain the industries in right relations with each other. It is often said that every person is entitle;! to a chance to earn a living, hut even so, this docs not signify that he is entitled to earn it in any particular employment, or at any particular price that he may choose. That would be naming conditions which obviously could not he assured to everybody, and no one is more entitled to such assurance than any one el’se. At last there is an obligation upon every one to find the place where it can he useful, or to make the best effort in his power to do so.
