ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. JEFFRIES AND CO.’S REPORT. At tlie above yards yesterday Messrs W. Jeffries and Co’s entry comprised 39 fat sheep, 10 fat lambs, and OS head of fat cattle. The attendance of buyers was not up to the usual. Notwithstanding this prices were distinctly linn and as the quality (especially of Mr N. Friend’s entry) was good, competition was keen, prices being ■as under. Prime heavy ox 33s to 40s per hundred, medium ox 37s (kl to 42s fid, Heavy cow 32s fid to 355, lighter sorts 28s to 335, heifer 30s to 30s. A small yarding of sheep sold well. ' The following sales were recorded:— j .Mulvanov, 39 fat ewes and wethers at 34s 3d; lfi fat lambs at 27s 9d. For D McNicoll, 1 runner at £5 ss; 2 cows at £5 10s, 1 at £3 17s Gd. For J. Rea, 1 runner at £5 os, 1 at £5, 1 at £4 10s; 1 at £3 12s fid. For A Sutherland, 1 cow at £lO os, 1 at £8 12s fid. For J. Rynll, 2 steers at £8 15s, 3 at £B, 2 at £7 15s, 2 heifers at £6 15s, 2 at £fi 7s fid, 2 at £6 ss, 3 at £5 15s.' For Norman Friend, 1 bullock at £l6 7s fid, 1 at £ls 7s .fid, 7 at £ls. 1 at '£l4 17s fid, 3 at £l4 12s fid, 1 lit £l4 10s, 3 at £l4 7s fid, 3 at £l4, 2 at £l3 7s fid, 10 at £l3. Messrs Dalgety and Co. sold on account of Mr 11. Buscli, 57 fat ewes and wethers at 32s 9d.

M. HOUSTON AND CO.’S REPORT. Our yarding-at tlie usual fortnightly sale at the above yards yesterday consisted of 60 bead of fat cattle and 100 breeding ewes, which were submitted to the" usual attendance of buyers. Good quality cattle sold on a par with last sale, but medium and rougher sorts were easier in prices and rather difficult to quit. Prime ox beef realised 37s per hundred, medium to 345, cows and heifers according to quality from 25s to 30s per hundred. W'c sold as follows: —On account of \Y Olderoo, 2 steers at £8 6s, 1 sucker at’ Cl ss, 1 stag at £4 los, 1 sucker at £3, 1 at 355, 1 at 20s, 1 at 265, 2 at £2 10s, -2 heifers at £5 ss, 2 at £4 ss, 1 at £5 12s fid, 3 store cows for 910. On account of AY. Graham, 1 bullock at £l3 ss, 1 at £l2, 1 at £ll 7s fid. On account of T. Staines 3 heifers at £5 15s, 1 bullock at £B, 1 at £7 10s, 1 at £7 12s fid. 1 at £6 17s fid. 1 heifer at £6, 2 cows at £7, 2 at £6 2s fid, 2at £6 ss, 2at£6 2s 6d, at £6 ss’, 1 at £6 10s. On account of AY. A. Jamieson, 2 cows at £7 2s fid, 1 I bullock at £8 10s, 2 cows at £6 10s, I 1 at £7, 1 cow and 1 heifer at £5 10s, 2 bullocks at £9 12s fid, 1 cow and 1 heifer at £5 12s fid, 2 bullocks at £9 ss, 1 cow at £7 10s, 2 heifers at £S los, 1 cow at £7, S cows at £8 os. (Privately) On account of AY. Graham, 30 fat sheep at 30s ; 6 at 24s ; 13 cows at £5 10s; 2 steers at .£'7 10s; 2at £0 10s. On account of clients, 90 ewes at 38s; 80 at 395; 148 lambs at 325.
