LATE LOCALS.
A meeting of the Referees Association is called for to-night at 7.30 o’clock. A full attendance is desired as the business is important. Messrs M. Houston and Co. notify the sale by auction at Arabura yards on Monday, the 14th iust., at the eonelusion of the fat stock sale of 301) selected Romney breeding ewes, on account of Mr R. A. Hareourt, of Koiterangi. intending exhibitors are reminded that the entries for the Chrysanthemum Show close with the Secretary at the Soldiers’ Hall to-morrow (Tuesday) evening a 3 o’clock. A working bee will also be held to arrange the various stalls and stands for the exhibits. All members are requested to attend so as to have everything in readiness for the show on AYednesday, so that exhibitors will not be delayed in staging their exhibits.
