PALMERSTON, N., April 30Two young men, Ernest George Drydcn and William John Coot, on. charges of bicycle . stealing were sentenced to fourteen days gaol, the police stating the theft of bicycles was becoming rather prevalent. The milking plant, which was totally destroyed, was insured in the South British Office for CloO.

I"naniinity was evident at to-day’s session of the Anglican General Synod when, what are known as the Fundamental Classes were again considered. Resolutions were passed that a Bill he presented in Parliament empowering the Church to make certain alterations in its Constitution. The effect of the Bill will lie to empower the Church to adopt if it so desires, the Revised Prayer Book and such other departures as may be deemed expedient.

A Bill to amend certain Canons was read the third time and passed.
