KIRK ON ZEAL ANTRA. SYDNEY, April 10. Early this morning a fire was discovered in the hunkers of the steamer Zeaiandin. After a hard fight the firemen controlled the out break. The cause and extent of the damage are at present unknown. YARIIA LAID I P. SYDNEY. April 10. The Huddart Parker C' i.v. has given twenty-four hours’ notice to the crew of the Yarra which will he tied up. The tonnage of the five idle vessels belonging to the Huddart Parker Coy. aggregates 2:2.020. COOKS STRIKE, SYDNEY, April 18. The ‘‘Yarra” at Newcastle, was unable to secure a cook to-day. and it is Tea red that she will be tied up, making five of the company’s ships under ban. The “Yarra” took the Zealand* ilia’s pine? on the Hobart -Sydney run.
