AVIATION

(United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)

WAITING FURTHER NEWS. NEW YORK, April 17. It is becoming daily increasingly difficult to obtain authentic information regarding the German fliers, principally due to the fact that the storm is still raging along the entire Labrador coast and seriously delays communications. -Moreover, Little Point Amour radio station which is the nearest to them lias been deluged with business for several days, and messages to and from tho fliers are still piling lip. -Meantime, reports which do emanate frequently are most conflicting. For example one received to-day stated the fliers landed on a small ice covered pond with little damage, which did not include the under-carriage, and would bo able to resume their flight on Wednesday, while another declared they landed on ice-covered ground, not a pond, and the plane dragged, a considerable distance, damaging the undercarriage and necessitating extensive repairs, which could not be completed in five or six days. However, definite details are expected when Fit-smaurico readies civilisation. FURTHER REPORTS. NEW YORK, April 17.
