ADDIMCTGN STOCK SALES. CHRISTCHURCH. April 11. Addington weekly sale ta-dav was successful from the vendors' viewpoint. Prices generally remained firm. Store sheep—There was Yi large yarding, niostlv ol shipped sheep, with not many lambs included, and very few wethers. Considering the large yarding. the sale throughout was a firm one both wethers and lambs selling oxeeptionnlly well. Store cattle -There wits a very small varding ol store cattle, and roalK there were no quotable lines oilerod. Eat. lambs —There was a medium entry of fat lambs and a good sale. Schedule prices were well maintained, and the graziers were operating keenly for the lighter and unfinished sorts. Prime lambs sold ;it 29s Oil to 32s Od. extra to 35s Id. medium 20s to 28s, others to 235.

Fat cattle—A large yarding ol fat cattle included a fair proportion <;F station catch lines. The quality generally was very fair, and the prices showed little, if any. difference from last week’s. Prime steers sold at £l4 15s to £lO 15s. extra to £l9 17s Gd, medium £ll 15s to £l3 los. others to £S : prime heifers CIO 10s to £l2, extra to £l3 12s Gd. medium £7 to £1() ss, others up to £5. Pigs—The porkers were a large yarding. and there was a firm entry of baeoners. several of the lots being from the West Coast. It was a good sale, v nopper.s sold up to ££4 IS (id. light porkers 33s to 37s Gd, medium 38s to 445. heavy to 575. light baeoners fetched £3 to £3 15s. medium to £1 ss. and heavy to £5 5-. The store pigs were a small entry, and prices were firmer, except for «ows in pig.
