(By Telegraph—Per Press Association. BUTTER AND CHEESE. GRADING FIGURES FOR AIARCH. AVI*: LLINGTON, April 10. The Dairy Division’s grading figures for Afareh show for butter a decrease from .March, 1927, of 20.1 per rent, at .■>99o tons, and for cheese a decrease of 21.7 per cent, at 7239 tons, compared with the corresponding period of the preceding season. Fight mouths’ figure- show for butter an increase of A. 7 per cent, at 04,,9i tons, and for cheese a decrease of 1.1 per cent, at 02.763 tons. Converting both butter and cheese into but-ter-fat. the equivalent increase is 73.44 per cent.

A suggestion that merchant seamen might reciprocate hospitality ashore by considerate treatment of passengers and cargo was made hy tile Governorgeneral in a speeeli at tile Seamen's Institute to-night.
