Cleverley. chosen Xew Zealand representative for the Olympic Games can get to Amsterdam no other way. lie will work his way to England in the engine-room of a. liner. This announcement is made by Clevorley’s father. The intention is for Cleverley to he taken under the wing of the Xew Zealand Olympic team from London to Amsterdam and hack again. From London his father will pay his passage hack. Cleverley is determined to reach Holland to represent the Dominion in the boxing events. He is a railway mail, and Hie railway offices have subscribed ,1570 towards the 11400 needed to send the boy abroad. ATr Cleverley. sen., has given CKO. and now the development of events is awaited. If sufficient money is available Cleverley will, of course, he dispatched in the ordinary way as a member of the Xew Zealand Olympic team. Failing this, the boy will work his way across below decks.
