tendance. SAMOAN MILITARY POLICE. CHRISTCHURCH. April o. A large number of men responded to an advertisemeut calling for enlistments for a military force to serve in Samoa as police. The call for applications stated the pay is to he 8s Gd per day. The age limits are 22 years to 32 years. SAMOAN POLICE MAKE ARRESTS. APIA, April 3. In connection with the brutal murder of a Chinese coolie near Apia, last week, white police, who are investigating. have arrested two Chinese coolies on suspicion of murder.
