A meeting of the Committee ot the above Club was held at Mclntosh’s rooms at 9 o’clock. Present: —Messis W. E. Williams (President), McGregor, Wliiley, Yarrall, Sellers, Peake, Houston, Mclntosh, Neville and Evans. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed. INWA RD CORRESPONDKNCE. From Railway Department notifying train arrangements for race meeting on usual lines, with holiday excursion tickets over the Westland section.— Received.

From New Zealand Trotting Association notifying G. E. 'Curry would act as Stipendiary Steward for the trotting races.—Received. From Department of Internal Affairs notifying rebate of £192 10s 4d on the summer meeting.—Received with thanks.

From New Zealand Racing Conference, approving change of racing date to April 12.—Received. From same supplying particulars ot amendments to Stamp Act and Finance Act.—Received Vitli thanks. From same stating G. E. Curry was appointed Stipendiary Steward and R. G. Sampson, Racecourse Inspector, for the forthcoming meeting.—Received. _ From Department of Internal Affairs advising W. C. Ryan would officiate as Deputy Inspector of Totalisator at race meeting.— Received. From same giving procedure in respect to the application for racing dates. —Received. From New Zealand Racing Conference circular as to the importance of owners registering colours. Received. From same stating the question ot radio broadcasting of race meetings would he considered at the annual conference.—-Received. From same on the, subject of applications for totalizator- licenses and dates.—Received. From same asking for dates proposed for next racing season. —Received. December 20th and 27th, and April 4th were selected for the summer and autumn meetings, respectively. From same regarding procedure at all racing enquiries.—Received. From New Zealand Country Racing Club Association notifying annua meeting in July and asking remits be sent in by May.—Received. GENERAL. The Secretary reported the ladies’ cloak room had been enlarged and other improvements made in accorcauce with the previous decision. It was reported the course and appointments were in excellent order „„d with the large entries received there was the promise of a very attractive meeting. Various arrangements for the inee - ing were completed, and the meeting adjourned at 10.5 p.m.
