arahura football club
A meeting of the Arahura Football Club was held on tlie 20th. inst. about twenty being present. Mr 1. Tniiuii presided. It was resolved to nominate a junior team for the forthcoming season. The Chairman outlined the position ~[■ the Club stating that the finance was god there lieing a credit balance of £5 7s ltd. Thanks are due to the Secretary for the able manner in which lie had controlled the finances of the Club, a vote of thanks being accorded. ft was decided to start practice on April Ist. The Management Committee of the X.Z.R.U. lias prohibited All Blacks exchanging jerseys with players. “ft is a silly practice,” said Mr Dean. Some players return from these tours with forty jerseys and what can thev do with them. Players are to be provided with badges which they can present to tlielSouth Africans.
