The Auckland l Diversity College Ims for sonic years possessed at Swanson an area of over fifty acres vested in the Council for the use of students engaged in botanical research. Largely by the energy and enthusiasm of l’rofossor Corbin. principal of the School ot Forestry. a building lin.s now been put up on the reserve which will provide comfortable accommodation for students, and enable them to make full use of the unique opportunities for their work which the reserve and the areas of native hush in the vicinity supply. —Auckland Paper.
