ANOTHER. SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. The Hokitika Swimming Club held another very successful carnival in the Swimming Baths last evening. There was a large and enthusiastic attendance present, and tlie weather was fine and warm, making for the enjoyment and comfort of swimmers and patrons. The events were run off very promptly and the events generally were well contested, with (lose finishes. The results were as follows: Newman’s Clip Handicap, 100 yards. First Heat:—Diedrieli I.
