WEDDING BELLS
A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. .Mary’s Church, Hokitika, on l'’ebruary 29th, the contracting parties being Miss Clara Brown, youngest daughter of the late Air and Mrs I. Brown, of Blue Spur, and Mr' CL Punch, of Araliuru. The officiating clergyman was Kev. Father McKay. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Air K. Brown, was charmingly attired in a champagne coloured crepe-de-chine lroek with a rose silk eharmelene coat and hat and shoes to match, and also wore a handsome fox fur, the gift of the bridegroom. The lu-ide was attended by her niece. -Miss Alyra Warwick, wearing a moonlight blue crepe-de-chine frock with bat to match and a gold nugget necklet, the gift of the bride and bridegroom. Air I. I’. Brown performed the duties of best man. After the ceremony the party motored to the residence of the bridegroom’s sister, Mrs Toker. Araluira. where a sumptuous breakfast was partaken of. The wedding took place yesterday afternoon at St. John’s Presbyterian Church. Greymouth. ol Aiiss Ada Eileen Taylor, of Kumara, and Air James Henry Morgan, of Greymouth. the ceremony being performed by the Rev. T. X. Cuttle. Miss M. Taylor, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Air .T. Keller, of Kabikntea. best man. Air T. Crankshaw presided at the organ and played the Wedding? March as the wedding party left the church.
