Three men event (wet) —Greymouth A. and B. teams each 26 2-5 sec. a dead heat, 1; Kumara I), team 27 2-5 sec. 3. Also competed: Denniston B. 27 3-osecs. Cobden 28 sec., Otira B. 28sec., AVestport 28 l-ssee. Hokitika 29sec., Kumara A. 30 sec. Five men coil event (wet) —Otira 36 l-sscc. 1, Denniston 37 4-sspe. 2, Cobden 40sec. 3. Also competed: AYoslport 40 4-ssee., Hokitika 43 4-osec. Reefton 52sec. The McLean Cup was won by Westport Brigade. The Aggregate Cup was retained by the Otira Brigade, with a score of 15 points, the next in order of points being: Cobden 13, Denniston 12, AA’estport- 10. Greymouth 7. Kumara 5. Keeton 2.
