EVERYBODYS PICTURES. “ SEVEN DAYS.” ANOTHER CHRISTIE TRIUMPH. A Mother spoke Ims been added to the wheel of mirth in the Al. Christie presentation of "Seven Days” which opens on Friday at the Princess Theatre. It stands out as another leather in the caps ol' the producers of the record-hreaking " Charley’s Aunt. The same surface strain of continual humour, the same undercurrent ol seriousness combined deftly into a human picture of a domestic upheaval, make "Seven Days” a fitting sequel for the previous presentation. 'I he story is of a young chap, {riving a party to a few friends to celebrate the lirst anniversary of his divorce, suddenly finds himself beset on all sides with all manner of trouble and trial. First his wealthy aunt arrives. not knowing ol his divorce, and the probi lent of keeping real facts from her confronts him. Then his divorced wife arrives unexpectedly. On top of this, the servants take hasty leave, alarmed by a spotted aliment which has stricken the butler. A burglar, chancing by, and seeing the party in session takes the opportunity to transact some business. On entering, he finds a policeman, whom the cook had been entertaining before her unceremonious departure, fast asleep in the chair. Then the whole house is placed under a seven days quarantine for smallpox as a result of the butler’s ailment, ll things move speedily up to this point, they race from here on. Lillian Rich heads the cast of this hilarious comedy made under the direction ol Scott Sidney. Others in this Producers Distributing Corporation release are Creighton Hale, Lilvan Tashman, Ifallain Cooley, Mabel Julienne Scott. Rosa Gore, Eddie Gribbon and Tom Wilson.
