Owing to a number of defection from the announced team only thro rinks travelled to Runanga on Satin day afternoon, when Hokitika wor beaten by (it points to 80 points, on rink winning and two l>eing beater The Runanga green was in splendi order and it is now second only to th Westport green in quality. As usu.i the hospitality of the Runanga ladie was of the very best-, and a very at tractive afternoon tea was enjoyed Mr Munson (President) extended welcome to the visitors and Mr J B. Ward (President of Hokitika Club .iteplied .suitably, congratulating tin Runanga Club on their very fine greci and their success that afternoon.
