LATE LOCALS.
A meeting of the Hokitika Athletic and Cycling Club will be held this (Tuesday) evening at 7.30 o’clock sharp at Keller’s Rooms. Business important.—Advt. There will he a challenge match for whippets run off at the Hokitika racecourse to-morrow (Wednesday) evening at- 7 o’clock between Ouimet, the N.Z. champion and Bingo Boy, ti locally owned dog. Messrs B. Dowell and A. J. Sunnier notify they are prepared to carry out bricklaying and concrete work, also cleaning of ranges and chimneys, at shortest notice. Coal and firewood also supplied on application at the addresses, Bealev St. or Hampden St.
