SYDNEY. Fob. 7. Addressing a meeting ol the mines „f Stockton Borehole colliery and pressmen whom lie invited to be present All Hoare. .resident of the Northern Branch of Die Coal Aimers federation, stated he received during the past eighteen months amounts totalling 409< as pav.ne.it for keeping the mine working. Mr Hoare said the money was paid to liint at the rate of a half-penny per ton onoutput hy a man whom he met . street in Newcastle.
