RES CRT OK DRY SPELL. The returns of the N.Z. Co-op. Herd Testing Association for Novemlicr show that in the Waikato the average production of 07,41-1 rows was 30.0411) luitterfat, while those for December show a decline to 34.0711. Imtter fat for 02.224 cows. In the Waiuku district, where conditions have been particularly serious on account of the dry spell, the reduction in tile yield is more marked. Ihe figures for the group tor the last lour months are:— September.—l 747 cows, 8551 b milk per cow; 4.4 test; 37.811 b butterlat per tow. October.—2o3o cows; 8!)7Ib milk per cow; 4.1 test ; 30.831 b butterfat per cow. November.—2oß9 cows; 8971 b milk per cow : 4.2 test ; 30.211 b butterfat per tow.
