CYCLING.

(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AYELLiXGTOX, Jan. 30. Among the arrivals by the Alakura from Sydney this morning, wore two Australian amateur track champion cyclists: J. Ktandon and D. Cray, and their trainer and manager, Messrs F. Kaltenbaeh. Standen and Cray have been brought- to Xew Zealand by the Xew Zealand Amateur Athletic Association and are to compete at various centres, making their first appearances at Wanganui on Wednesday. Standen is a youthful champion, being one when eighteen years ol age. Cray is the more experienced rider. Roth have been chosen to represent Australia at Olympic Games. A civic reception yas accorded the visitors bv the Mayor to-day.
