The totalisator handled £48,394 compared with £57,213 for the corresponding day last year, which was Anniversary Day. Results: — Trial Handicap.—(l) Cynthia 1, (2) La Roma 2, (3) Liasion 3. Won by a length. Time 1.28 2-5. Orcwa Handicap.—(2) Uralla 1, (1) Bold Front 2, (3) Red Comet 3. Won by a length and a-balf. Time 2.27. Stewards’ Handicap. —(3) Tcatimo 1, (4) Dave 2, (1) High Finance 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.13 2-5. Takapuna Cup.—(3) Eden Hall 1, (2) Transformer 2, (5) Mint Leaf 3. Won by a head. Time 2.33 3-5. "Ferry Handicap.—(s) Winsome Roy 1,(1) Speechless 2, (5) Ripon Abbey 3. Won by two and a-half lengths. Time 1.29 2-5. Calliope Handicap.—(3) Mi thru 1.
