In the distinction of being the most popular Dominion touring side, the Waratahs are likely to return with more material. The record gate money for the twenty-eight matches is expected to yield a total of £(>1,000, including the record against England of £IO.OOO because for the first time the new stand at Twickenham was filled. Other international takings were: against Scotland £BOOO, against 5\ ales £5,000 and against Ireland £-1.5(10. The smallest gate was £3OO against North Scotland.

After deducting the expenses of the tour £1(5.000, and also the entertainments tax £12,200. this means that the Waratahs will and over £32.800 to the British authorities to be divided as follows: England £14.000. Males £9.000. Scotland £3.700. Ireland £4OOO.

This compares with the All Blacks profits of £21.000. The Waratahs will take back Cl.flOf profit from France. £(500 has been guaranteed for the match in Vancouver.
