X.Z. OHAAIPIONSIIIPS. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, .Tan. 25. The X.Z. National Swimming and Diving Championships were continued this evening in the -Municipal Baths. Several fresh records were established. In the 100 yards junior girls’ championship. Miss M. Smith (Auckland) established a New Zealand fresh water record for the distance. D. P. Lindsay (Canterbury) retained tin- title in the 880 yards men’s national championship, and established a fresh record. W. Cameron (Wellington) established a new record in the 100 yards intermediate hoys’ championship, chipping three seconds off the record. Miss E. Stockley (Auckland) lowered Aliss L. Copplestone’s record for the 100 metres New Zealand backstroke swim bv 13 secs.
