A baly punch knocked P.arnes down for eight in tlie fourth round. The towel was thrown in after he Inn! dropped in the lourtecnth. Trowern created a good impression. SYDNEY, Jan. 23. At the Stadium. George Thompson defeated .Jack Elliott on a loul, in the eleventh round of a dull, uninteresting fifteen rounds contest. NEW YORK, Jan. 21. Ace Hudkins, of Nebraska, won a decision over Lew Tendler in ten rounds.
