The American is considered the faster and hotter boxer, hut ability..to take punishment, and an earnest desire to earn the right to meet Tunney, will make Heeney a dangerous contender. Jt is understood that the New Zealander informed Rickard that it he heats Sharkey, he must lie matched against the champion, although Jack llelaney lias declared lie will challenge Heeney. Sharkey has been actively training in Boston, while Heeney is working out at a local gymnasium.

Record gate receipts are expected. The odds on Sharkey to win and meet Tunney have reached two to one, with few backers.
