In response to Waikato’s first innings score of Ift 1, Canterbury made d(52 (Read 10-3, Nixon 89, Newman 93. Roberts 0(5. Page not out 40). Winger took three wickets for 51. Hawke two for 59, and Going two for (sa, were the best home bowlers. Waikato’s second strike realised 15(5 runs (Kavanagh 43, Badeley 32. Hawke 24. Thomas 23). Merritt took seven wickets for 40, Read one for 32, and Page one for 36. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 12. u a- meeting of New Zealand Cricket Ltd. it was decided to take stops t liquidate the Company.
