At the Olympic swimming tests roi Australian national games, one liundr;d metres free style was won by Laidlnw (New South AYales) in 1.7. Two hu.i dred metres breaststroke was won in 1 lay Won (New South Males) in .1.12 l->. The 100 metres backstroke was won by Carberry (New South AYales) in 1.20 1-3 and the 400 metres was won by Jones (Westralin'i 5.29 3-5. ■Women’s 200 metres breaststroke was won by Aliss Roherton (New South Wales) in 3.34 3-5 ; and the 400 metres was won by Aliss Davey (New South Wales) in 0.13. Olympic Tests.— Wrestling, lightweight division, was won by Bolgov (Victoria); the bantam was won by Ford (New South AYales); the welter was won by Gale (New South AYales) ; middle-weight was won by Sharpe (A 13toria). Boxing bantam was won by Sweeney (New South AYales).
