At the tea sales, a useful selection was offered, nil of good quality. Broken teas met with a good competition. Leaf teas were firm to dearer, mediums easier, declining three to six pies. Dusts were very strong. Average prices common Pekoe Souchong 12 annas to 12 annas (i pies; clean common broken Pekoe Soueliong 12 to 12-3; black leaf Pekoe 14-fi to 14-9.
