NOTICES OK MOTION. Mi' Evans to move at the Borough Council meeting on Friday, the 13th inst. : (1) That the Overseer prepare an estimate for next meeting of the cost ol tar-sealing the balance of the footways Cass Square, the Beautifying Society to assist financially with the work. •>) That in view of the increased subside to be derived through the petrol tax. the Overseer prepare an estimate of the cost of ro-couditiomng i preparatory to tar-sealing), and tarsealing the main highway through the Borough in two separate sections; (a i Kit/.bcrbert Street. i.b) Stafford Street : the work also to include widening where considered necessary.
(3, That the AYorks Committee include m next street estimates the cost of levelling and forming the iuH width of Hampden Street, with provision, tor metalling same, so as to provide on special days for two-way traffic, by limiting up traffic to the .left-hand side, und down traffic to the opposite side, ond bv direct control and checking speed, reduce the liability to motor accidents to a minimum.
