Now preparing to cement pi inch diameter casing. Gisborne No. 2 well transport proceeding and contraction commencing to erection of rig. OBITUARY. NELSON, Jan. 10. Obituary.—E. A r . Bisie.v, ol the former well known firm of Bislcy Bros. Deceased for many years was • very prominent in business and 1 arming circles. Aged 71. INQUESTS. NAPIER, Jan. 10. The unknown man, who hanged himself on the Marine Parade on Sunday morning, has been identified as James George Timson, a watersider, aged about 52. It is not known il he has any New Zealand relatives. It is understood that he was a single man. He resided in Napier in 1925. hut bis whereabouts since then are unknown. A formal finding was icturiK'd at the inquest.
At tlie inquest on Joyce V illiams, the young girl who was drowned at West Shore yesterday, a formal verdict was returned.
